Passport POS and Forecourt Instructions for EMV Contactless

Prior to turning on EMV contactless at the location the correct software must be downloaded to enable the EMV contactless feature.  

• Software Version 23.01 is the correct Version.

The following must be performed to update from have EMV contactless functionality .

• POS Software Upgrade
• MPD Firmware Upgrade
• Pin pad Firmware Upgrade

 To turn on EMV contactless at Pump on the Passport

• Log in under Manager.
• Go to tools.
• Manager Workstation
• Fuel
• Site Options
• Check Enable EMV Contactless
• Hit Save

To turn on EMV contactless at the Pin pad

1. Log in under Manager.
2. Go to Tools
3. Manager Workstation
4. Go to Set up.
5. Register
6. Register Set Up
7. Click 1 Posser 01 Cashier Workstation- Hit change.
8. Click on Contactless
9. Hit Save

Test Transactions.

Process for  turning  off  EMV Contactless  on Passport               

At the Pump

• Log in under manager.
• Go to Tools
• Manager WorkStation
• Fuel
• Site Options
• Uncheck Enable EMV Contactless
• Hit Save

If a site has the contactless module , there  should place a decal over the module at each MPD.

Turn off Contactless inside the Pin pad.

• Log in under manager.
• Tools
• Manager Workstation’
• Go to Set Up
• Register
• Register Set Up
• Click on  1 Posser 01 Cashier Workstation – Hit Change
• Unclick Contactless
• Hit Save
