MNSP, Managed Network Service Provider, are just additional firewall services PDI performs instead of it being done by the POS help desk/service technician. The POS manufacturers require a MNSP be in place prior to accepting outdoor EMV, post-COVID that date is now April 1st, 2021. Click Here to View Verifone Announcement
The site will need a technician to remove the POS networking hardware (a Cybera box) and setup the POS with the proper routes to direct that traffic to the MNSP. The MNSP for location's processing on the Clark Crown network will be PDI, so after removing the hardware, the technician will need to work with PDIso they can load the MNSP profile. Besides the requirement to do this, the switch to a MNSP does remove a failure point and vendor from the POS ecosystem so troubleshooting is much easier. Click Here for Install Guide
