Cashier's FAQ

• How do I learn the app?
  • We recommend downloading the app to familiarize yourself.                 

• What are the benefits of the app?
  1. $0.03 off every gallon of fuel up to 20 gallons per purchase
  2. Earn points by purchasing C-store item offers
     • Redeemable for cents off per gallon or Clark Dollars
  3. C-store item discounts and BOGO
  4. Additional offers and incentives

• What is needed to sign-up for the app?
  • Download the app onto your mobile device and provide name, email, phone number, and Date of Birth. 

• How does a customer redeem points?
  • On the app homepage the customer will select one of two options to convert their points: 
    1. Transfer Points to Pump = cents off per gallon
    2. Transfer Points to Wallet = dollars off of purchase on any convenience store item(s) (excludes gas)

               

• Do points need to be converted prior to a purchase?
  • Yes. A customer needs to complete transfer of points on the App prior to ringing up their sale. If the customer forgot, the sale needs to be voided and reprocessed.

• Can Clark Dollars be used on fuel purchases?
  • No. They can only be used on c-store items. Purchase can include both c-store items and fuel, but not just fuel.

• Can customers use cents off per gallon when prepaying fuel inside?
  • Yes. If they are paying cash, the pump will prompt them to see cashier after they pump gas to get their money back. 
• Where do customers find available offers and discounts on C-store items?
  • Under the Special Offers section on the App

           

• Do customers have to activate offers and discounts?
  • Yes, prior to completing a purchase, the customer must activate the discount or offer to receive discount or points.
• Are there offers for customers that are 21 and older?
  • Yes, there are. A customer can select, under Special Offers section of the app, to receive those offers. 

• Where do I direct a customer that has questions about their points, how to redeem, missing points, and all other App inquires?
  • They can review their points earned and redeemed on the mobile app under Rewards Wallet. Should they have additional questions, direct them to either complete the contact form on the App or email [e-mail]

• Where can I find this document and other information regarding the App?
  • Additional information can be found at the Clark Help Center www.clarkbrands.com/help-center.

• Will customer's see their points on their receipt after a sale is completed?
  • Yes, at the bottom of the receipt it will provide them loyalty information. See each example:
    • Prepay gas with C-store items.
      • Provides:
        • Points earned with purchase
        • Total current balance of points
        • Loyalty savings on purchase
