E300 Setup
- Power Connection
- If you are looking at the E300 from the front, the power input port is located on the rear-right side of the firewall, next to the power switch.
- Plug in the power cable and connect it to an uninterruptible power supply or UPS.
- Ethernet Connection
- If you are looking at the E300 from the front, the WAN port is located on the rear-left side of the firewall and is outlined in blue.
- Plug in an ethernet cable to the WAN port and connect the other end to the source of your internet connection. For example, this could be a wall outlet behind the counter or directly into your modem, depending on how your network is set up.
FD150 Setup
- Remove Rear Gate
- Detach the gate from the back of the FD150 to access the ports.
- Power Connection
- Locate the power input on the left side of the FD150.
- Connect the power adapter to the FD150 and plug the other end into the UPS.
- Ethernet Connection
- Locate the ethernet port under the rear gate area. The port is yellow and positioned between the phone line and USB ports.
- Plug in an ethernet cable.
- Connect to E300
- Take the other end of the ethernet cable and connect it to Port 1 on the E300.
Testing the Setup
- Run a test credit transaction using different card brands.
- Run a test debit transaction using different card brands.
Important Note
If you have more than one FD150, connect the ethernet cable for the second FD150 to Port 4.
