Auto close allows the terminal to automatically settle (close) transactions at a scheduled time each day. Once complete, end-of-day reports will print automatically.
Default Setup
Auto close is enabled by default on FD150 standalone terminals configured by our team.
If you prefer to manually close your terminal each day, contact Client Services at (877) 462-5275 to have auto close disabled.
Important Notes
- If auto close is enabled, avoid manually closing the terminal, as this may interrupt the scheduled batch for that day
- If the terminal is closed manually, any transactions processed after the manual close will be included in a separate batch during the scheduled auto close
- A single manual close does not disable auto close permanently
When to Contact Client Services
Contact Client Services at (877) 462-5275 if:
- You would like to disable auto close
- Auto close does not occur at the scheduled time
- Batch settlement timing appears incorrect
- The terminal is consistently missing auto close
